I have given our cockatoo "Shelby" three showers in the bathtub since we rescued her. Shower massage, set on fine spray and luke warm.
The first time she really liked it, even opening her wings, putting her head in and out of the spray and on my fingers. I also have her on a stool with a wet towel for traction, so she can walk around. (She has not been scared, even today)
Since then, she has not enjoyed it, and don't know why ?
My wife has a thought. The last two showers have been in late afternoon. Is it possible that she feels it's too late ? As we see outside with our garden pond, most or all birds bathe in the morning hours.
Do you agree or think it's something else ?
(she is also molting right now)

I do shower Pete in the mornings as that's when I usually want to shower. I often shower again at night, but it's just kind of on the late side to get him in there when I want him to start settling down for the night. Keep using the word "shower" so she learns it. Then when you say it you might get a reaction like excitement over the idea or disinterest to let you know she does or doesn't want to.
