hey! thank you so much for the intel. last month Peep was sick (and has the same symptoms) so we took him to an avian vet and they gave us an enrofloxacin oral solution, which we still have some left over after he got better.I agree with @HeatherG, your little one should see a vet with these symptoms, and as soon as is practicable since birds are, unfortunately, very good at hiding illness until they can no longer do so. Bird physiology is very different to mammals so it's important to see an avian specialist too, rather than just a regular dog and cat vet. I'm not sure where in the world you are located, but the following list should help you to find an avian vet near you if you are not already familiar with one...

Did you give then enrofloxacin for the entire length of time the vet recommended? so sorry for the later reply. Yes we gave him the prescribed medication and length, he did eventually feel better, but then it came back unfortunately. he is much better and is enjoying his apple treatDid you give then enrofloxacin for the entire length of time the vet recommended? Also enrofloxacin is a more general antibiotic. Some other antibiotics could be used to target his infection if enrofloxacin isn’t working.
