Loki's (Formally "Sierra") Photo Thread.

Figured I'd start a new thread to upload photos to. Here's my new baby, Sierra. She (well, will find this out for sure Thursday) was hatched on 4/25/12. I'm already in love!

I get to bring her home in about 4 weeks time depending on my breeder but should be about then

Well, here's an update. Took her in to the Vet today for a checkup and all that jazz. Also had the DNA sexing done, so we'll find out in a few weeks if I have to change her name. lol! However, the vet did find that she does have a slight bacterial infection in her upper G.I. tract. She said this was fairly common on young birds, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Anyways, she's on antibiotics for the time being. Hopefully this is something minor. The results from the CBC will be in tomorrow, so we shall see.

And Sierra is, indeed a boy. So........ any new name suggestions? haha!

In other news, all is well. He went to the vet today for a recheck, and the infection is gone. So he's a happy, healthy little boy!

I think I've decided on a new "boy" name. Loki. It's short, and it's the Norse God who was a troublemaker and always into mischief... just like a parrot!
