I mix Quinoa and coucous with shredded cucumbers, bell peppers and carrots. I then mix that with heated vegetables (corn, green beans, lima beans and carrots in frozen bag mix) and feed for breakfast.

Loki seems to really like this mix and its pretty fast to make fresh every couple of days.

Here he is digging in...

Nice! He looks like he's enjoying it :)

I can't believe I never thought of feeding couscous. I use quinoa and a quinoa/rice mix, but never even considered couscous. I bet Dexter would love it.

You should see my freezer! I have portioned baggies of food mixes, as well as a ton of different kind of frozen veggies. My mom actually has to ask me which are for us and which are for the birds!

You're so kind. My ekkie just gets frozen veggies on weekdays, with some dry seed (flax/quinoa/hemp/amaranth, etc) mixed in, maybe some coconut shavings or whole wheat dry noodles (he loves them uncooked).

Lucky Loki, yummy breakfast! Nice playstand, I love the food dish.

Hi Loki! What a great breakfast you have there. I wonder if Baxter would enjoy it!
