sneezing when excited?

so recently we discovered Mr. Skittles favorite band, is Slipknot. He dances and sings along as best as he can. It's actually quite hilarious.

I noticed today that when I bring him over to the computer and he starts getting ready to dance he will sneeze a few times over and over again. Sometimes he does this when I come home if I haven't seen him all day too that's why I assume hes getting excited.

He only has this response to certain types of music, mainly slipknot but we also noticed it when we played some Elvis Presley LOL.

Has anybody else heard of this happening? any other time he doesn't sneeze except the occasional time he scratches and puts his toes in his little nose.

Look in both nares very carefully...my nanday was doing intermittent sneezing & the vet found a feather barb in one of Fenix nares.....think loose eyelash tickling eyelid.....if he likes showers, maybe a good long shower is order, it could be dust too ! ! !

I've observed my dog doing this as well. Seems to be a learned behavior, but you never know with animals.
If you're worried then I'd get it checked out by a vet. (Although he sounds fine to me!)

thank you to both of you, i looked in his nose carefully and didn't see anything. I will give him a nice shower today and see if it changes.

His 1st birthday is coming up soon and we were going to have a basic checkup with our vet to make sure all his healthy (skittles also really really likes our vet so it's a treat for him to visit) so I will bring it up to him then as well.
