Last night while I was getting the birds ready for bed I noticed they weren't scrambling to get away from me. I took the opportunity to try to feed them a long piece of millet. They both started eating and a little at s time I inched it into my hand so they would have to be closer. After a few minutes they were both standing in my hand and let me scratch their heads!!!! I never thought they would let me near them!

Budgies are awesome birds! This is a great step forward in the trust department.

Oh they're so cute! Budgies will do anything for some millet lol. Good training tool! It IS an exciting feeling to have a breakthrough .
