So I went out to get a Lovebird...

And came home with a budgie instead.

The cutest little thing.. brown and white.. I've never seen a budgie with brown in its coloration before!

And so sweet!

The lady was quite nice, and obviously loved her birds.

I got to play with a baby Blue and Gold!

Little birdie is quietly sitting in his/her new cage and I couldn't be happier.

When he settles down.

I spent twenty minutes just sitting with him.. while he chewed on my fingers xP.

I think Hubbie is gonna be happy with this addition, he needs his own cling on.

Poor little thing is sooo nervous!


He was with his last sibling when I took him out, and I almost took his sibling with me as well.
The poor thing was frantic.

But give him a couple of days I think and he'll settle. Right now trying to get him to eat some food other than seeds and pellets.

One thing I didn't like about her was the food arrangements. Just a mix of pellets and seed. Nothing else. Not a very stimulating environment either..

But all of her birds are healthy happy and get plenty of out of cage time so...

He doesn't even have a name yet xP.

He has a brown head and brown on his wings.
Looks like a little snow owl!

His head and wings are brown.
Mother was a yellow lutino and father a blue pied.
