Some days its like my GCC won't sit still. Maybe its the early spring. And of course she gives that look that says "What do you mean I am like this all the time".

Its molting and mating season. Skittles is being much more expressive and vocal lately too.

I think I figured the molting thing out. More little feathers dropping all over the place. Approaching her first anniversary.

Bowie has been talking so much lately his little raspy voice is actually getting clear! He has learned at least 20 new words/phrases in the past 2 months!

Do you save the feathers? I do. Not the tiny ones or quills- but the tail and wing feathers. I've already got three bags of Skittles feathers.

I thought about making something out of them with past birds I've had, but I keep them all in ziploc bags (the feathers, not the birds, lol) so it retains their 'scent'.
