Goofy (YNA), Oscar (Goffin 'too). Foster bird Betty (RLA). RIP Cookie, 1991-2016 ('tiel), Leo (Sengal), Charlotte (scarlet macaw). Grand-birds: Liam (budgie), Donovan (lovebird), RIP Angelo (budgie)
Shortly before Leo passed away, I stopped by a gas station to fuel up my car, and while I was standing there, I felt something poking at my ankle. I looked down and there was this little peach face lovebird sitting on my shoe, trying to climb up my leg. So I scooped him up, set him up in one of the travel cages away from the rest of the flock, and started looking for his family. I also took him to the vet to make sure he was healthy. He does have some issues with plucking around his neck, and has no tail feathers, but otherwise he's healthy. Since I've had no luck finding his family, and his quarantine was over and the vet said he was healthy, I've decided to keep him, then introduced him to Donovan a couple days ago. Also, I've named him Arco, after the gas station where I found him.

He's so cute.
I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. I was getting the mail when an injured crow came to me. My father was home at the time, so I asked him to help me get the bird to a vet. Unfortunately the crow was badly injured, and had to be put down.
I never thought a wild bird would do something like that.

Thank you for adopting little Arco! :D What a cutie he is lol.

Amazing on how he picked you to help him. They KNOW who to seek out.
I have seen so many you tube vids showing just this. a 6th sense of sorts.
