Mango was jealous that I haven't talked much about him since joining the forum haha...So here are some pictures of him... Here he is showing off his brand new cage. I got it in the same color as Niles cage so it makes the room look better. Plus, his old cage had no seed guard, and was extremely hard to clean. Mango likes to get in his food bowl and kick pellets all over so I constantly had a messy floor. With this new cage and seed guard...its sooo much better. He also lives next to Niles now so the seed guards touch....His food now stays either in his cage...or goes to Niles' seed guard worst case scenario. It's also much much larger...I really felt bad for Mango because he had a hard time adjusting from going to an "only child" to having Niles in the house. He was never cage aggressive but now he is really cage aggressive (even before their cages were moved closer). Part of the reason I wanted to get the new cage was that I was hoping it would be a new place and the aggression would subside...but it hasn't. It's definitely managable though and he is super sweet outside the cage. He was sold to me as a sun conure...but I'm really thinking that he's a hybird with a Jenday...He has hardly no yellow on his wings and he's turning 6 at the end of this month! I don't care though, I still love him no matter what he is :)

Awwwww he is so gorgeous, really nice colours! :) Your camera is awesome too lol :)

He is very pretty. My Nanday can be cage aggressive as well, but she is nowhere near as bad about it now that she's older. I did get a bit of a nip last week though when removing one of her toys to put some new pieces of wood on it, lol! So I can add toys, but taking them away is another story.

What a gorgeous bird! He almost looks like a red factor!

Thanks everyone...he's actually getting a little better...he let me pet him in his cage today...maybe having him actually able to see Niles allowed him to appreciate him and get over his anger toward him...

Thanks kc_y0 for the camera compliments...I got it with the intention of learning photography...but its over my head lol...i just use the automatic setting.

FutureDVM, I thought that too when I first saw red factors...its so strange his wings are still green though...When I got him, I saw pictures of his parents since he came from a small breeder, and they looked like normal suns to me...I guess Mango is just unique :)

I think he's beautiful the way he is, but how old is he? Maybe he will get more yellow after the next molt?

No that is a red factor. She will get darker.

Not all red factors are red, just like the red factor Canaries sometimes they are deep orange just like my baby, she keeps getting darker.

Beautiful!!!!

But maybe not sun, very little yellow on the wings, hmmm different. Still single factor from what I can tell.
