Sprite accidentally ate his own feather...!?

Sprite was preening and he got one of his little green body feathers stuck in his beak. He was trying to get it out but it somehow got stuck, I tried to help him but it was too far in. He ended up eating it!!! I'm kinda scared, is that ok/will he be ok???
