I purchased a (gcc) about 2 weeks ago from a pet shop. He’s doing great in every aspect apart from step up.
He refuse to even attempt it he would rather climb the cage around my hand to get to the treat or stretch as far as he possible can nearly falling of his perch. I’ve also tried it with touch but same outcome.
It confusing me because he is not scared of my hands he will happily take treats from me or have head scratches and blu is at the point now where he’s so comfortable when my hands in the cage. he will lay in my hand on his back sometime upside down with his eyes close.
I am really confused and would love for him to step up so we can bond further out the cage and get more training under way
