Igor is feeling a bit less anxious but is still stressed when visitors come but less when its me, should i try to take him out of the cage for a change ?

I have had my African Grey Mishka for almost 7 years he is still stressed when visitors visit, unless he know them well.

I suggest leave the cage door open for him to come out when he is willing and ready.

Do not leave the cage door open when visitors are present. You never know how a bird is going to react unless the visitor is know to your bird.

Not likely to see a response from them. This is a very old thread, and OP hasn't logged on since 2014.
