was wondering if anyone else has seen a growth like this. uploadfromtaptalk1396792677337.webp

I think it might be contagious....

Uh o. That looks pretty dangerous.... I would expect you to be overcome by this illnesses main symptom at any time now- the desire t give a feathery someone some kisses and cuddles:D I do hope it isn't catching though, as my boy is due for a talon trim (they are razor sharp right now) and I would prefer not to get a lobotomy today.

Definitely not malignant.

It looks to be semi attached/detached, quite wriggly, and with a mind on its own. :D

Yikes! Wow...let me know what your doctor says. I have two very similar-looking growths, and my doctor is absolutely flummoxed. Major surgery has been suggested, which apparently involves the use of blasting caps filled with banana chips. Needless to say, I'm kinda interested in a second opinion...

In the meantime, have you noticed any behavioral abnormalities? For example, I keep feeling compelled to go to the refrigerator. Do you think this strange urge has anything to do with these peculiar growths?
😉

No fridge trips, but I do get the urge to run around on my tippee toes and roll on to my back and strick my feet in the air

Have you started hopping yet? Once The Hop sets in, there's no cure

Hmmm...Joel's right. We clearly need to establish a support group. It took me awhile to respond to this because I'd bitten all the keys off my computer keyboard, and then couldn't find my iPad because I was standing on it...

When I saw the photograph, I was wondering if the person wrote the email or if it was the bird who was inquiring. :09:

not malignant... but definitely won't go away, no medical treatment known for bird head.... tho it does seem to spread... first one bird head growth, then another shows up... and they tend to get bigger as the bird headness progresses. :)

Uh oh...now I'm scared...
😉

I'm no professional, but I think you have a serious case of caique-itis. ;)

Don't worry Juno, the "Squeak Squad" frequently have such growths. Sometimes a healthy poop will get them to entertain you while removing them from your butt!! They sometimes will bring extra paper towels that can be shredded for fun and profit!!

Hahaha!!! I haven't read this before because I thought it is a medical issue and my experience isn't enough to comment on such things.

Your growth certainly looks baaaaaaad!!!!! I suggest urgent intervention of some kind :)

I'd have to remove that growth and keep it (The feathered growth with the beak).

Oh no! You should probably have that snuggled! :D I have one very similar! Its really demanding and eats a lot! But I like it so I guess I'll keep the growth! :D
