Corella and Galah cross named Baby
Hi there, I'm just wondering what people what cage size would be suitable for a Corella and Galah hybrid. She's slightly bigger than a galah, and I'd like to get her a cage she can comfortably chill in. At the moment I have a smaller parrot cage inside for her to sleep in, and an aviary I put her out during the day when the weathers right, otherwise she spends most of the time with me.

a 40x30 cage would be defiantly large enough for the bird. You could go slightly smaller, but really get the bigger end and fill it up with toys and perches for them to be content on!

Minimum? I would say a 32 inch (81cm) x 23 inch (58cm) is good. If you have the room for a larger cage, then go with one, but the size I mentioned would be great!

40" x 30" is a great size for a small too! Bigger is always better. But if she spends most of her time out or in an aviary, she could go a little smaller. 24" x 36" would probably be fine.

Hmm so I've been fishing around for a cage for my future RB2 and I fell in love with this one:

King's Cages - Avian and Pet Bird Cages, Supplies, Food, Toys, Perches, Aviaries, Pluck No More

Nalani is in a similar sized cage (but a playtop 32"x22"x48") and she does fine in it. Seeing as an RB2 is similar in size... would this cage be ideal?

PS: I am looking into getting a small aviary as well, so even less time will be spent inside the cage. I just want to be sure he/she will be comfortable.

Besides the open top feature (don't like it on any cage), looks like a great cage! I'm sure a RB2 would love it!

I have a 37W x 27D x 68T cage for Rosie my galah, it's perfect for her and she has so much room. I could see a slightly larger bird being happy in it as well. Maybe even a big amazon.

Bigger is always better though.
