My wife and I are looking for a sun Conroe in the Florida Panhandle or nearby area, dont mind driving a little.

Sun Conure will clearly bring a very bright center to your World.

Normally, this time of year can be a bit lean regarding available Parrots in general as normal availability is a couple of months into the future. Complete a local search of Breeders in your area, plus retail stores that have Parrots. You may find yourself being on a waiting list.

Note:
- Never purchase an unweaned baby!!! Baby must be on solid food for several weeks prior to being released to you.
- Allow the Parrot to choose you! They are just much better at it then Humans are.
- Assure you have an Avian Vet selected, so your first stop with your new Parrot is at you Avian Professionals Clinic! They are also great sources for Parrots available in your area.

Yes! Many scams! But! A lot of these Suns were bought for their color! Once the owner realizes that not all that glitters is gold, they dump them! They are loud!

I have a sun and love her to death. I got extremely lucky, as I was pretty stupid and bought her from craigslist with no prior meeting with her. It all turned out well, but I would advise meeting the bird as many times as possible before deciding whether or jot it is a good fit. And yeah, they are super loud. I have heard that green cheek conures are a lot quieter.
