Tab had an accident - in hospital

Our Tab had an accident a few hours ago. It was a horseback riding accident. Her Kyros jumped out of the arena, Tab got underneath him, and then the 900kg of horse stomped on her lower abdomen and ran up the hill.

She is currently in the hospital, was taken there by ambulance. It appears she has no broken bones, but she has internal bleeding. Doctors are still trying to figure out where she is bleeding.

Please keep our Tab in your thoughts and prayers.

We will update as we hear more.

Her mum just updated with the following: nothing broken, no obvious large internal bleeding of large organs. Feels very sick from morphine, currently on IV for fluid.

It's not fair! She was over the moon when she found Kyros and was just getting ready to start training him. Now this! Poor Tab! And poor Fargo and Sméagol! Sometimes it seems as thought lots of awful things happen at once, doesn't it?

Latest update from her mum:
Just has official results and no internal issues, however she is being kept in overnight for further observation and pain relief.

Yes, Trish!!! My heart sank when I logged onto FB this morning because that was the VERY first thing I saw.

AND her nana was in the hospital this week already!!!

Tab is not catching a break.

But knowing Tab, she will bounce right back. I also think she will be driving the doctors and nurses half way crazy because she will want to go home to be with Fargo and Sméagol.

I got goosebumps and my jaw dropped when I read this!...oh the poor girl!....she cannot catch a break.

knowing Tab, all she'll be thinking about are her animals and wanting to get back to them.

Just got THIS update on Tab from her mum:

Ok, Last update for the evening, I have now arrived back home left Tab in the hospital in the short stay emergency observation ward. She will be monitored all night, however the Doctor is happy with her ct scans and ultrasounds that there is not internal damage to her large organs. There is a lot of soft tissue damge with bruising and she is in pain with her left hip however not broken. When I left she was very tired and vomiting from the morphine. I will be back up there first thing in the morning hoping she has a good night sleep..Just checked on the three K;s and unwrapped the exercise bandages that were still on Kyros. Not sure what to do with Fargo the Macaw so gave him some wet pellets and left him in his cage...feed pos (Smeagal) and will check everyone again in the morning. Good night and thank you for all your kind wishes to Tab....
