Tailfeather

Hello,
My lovebird Mitsouko was attacked by my dog and is doing ok. Though I'd like to know if tailfeathers grow back? If so, how long does it take? Also, he had a lot of feathers plucked from his back. He's five months old right now. Does anyone have an approximation?

Like I've posted in your other thread, they should grow back as they were pulled. It's gonna take a bit, never really look at the time frame, that's happened to me before long ago. But it all grew back over time nicely. You should start seeing the feathers coming in within a week.
