Sounds he makes:
cough *new*
squeak like the front door (I don't know how many times I went to see who was coming in the door)
laughs
farts or raspberries not sure which one it is
mimics the sound of my Daughter playing the recorder (that one's annoying)

He just turned a year old, so I'm pretty impressed!!!!!

These are all precious, these parrots are so smart.

Sunshine says:
Pretty bird
Pretty bird (whispered)
He attempts to give kisses
He whistles a jingle (don't know what it's called, but sounds like a "woot woo"; like when you see something/someone attractive.)
Whenever he hears a strange noise, it is his cue to say "what was that?"

Pineapple can laugh, whistle that same little jingle, and say "what was that?" at an unfamiliar noise.


Currently practicing: Pineapple is trying to sing jingle bells, and give kisses. Sunshine is practicing kisses.

The little cockatiel we just got does the cat call whistle and the homerun "CHARGE" whistle. I'm teaching her to say pretty bird now.

My cockatoo used to talk a lot, she would say

Lucy (Red-Bellied - 5 years old) says the following: Hi baby, peekaboo, what you doing, how you doing, want a treat, see you later, what, shut up (whenever the Senegal makes a lot of noise), pretty birdy. She also mimmicks some rude noises my husband makes o, my cell phone (you need to say hello for her to stop ringing) and the microwave.

Jessie (Senegal) says the following: hi buddy, peekabo, see you later, scratches, want a treat, what's your problem (I always say this to him when he's screams), hi mommy. He also mimmicks the rude noises that my husband makes ;o) - Now we're trying to teach them to say excuse me

Parrotqueen and antoinette, there is never a dull moment in our house. They both have so much personality and I look forward to my daily interactions/conversations with them.

Wow another crazy few days with Mishka.
I am sure she thinks I am absolutely STUPID.....
For a few days now she has been saying something like iss you iss you ??????
Saying is continuously the entire day.....
I checked my list (all words she has learnt) nothing sounds familiar.
It was driving us crazy, she would say nothing else but iss you iss you
I have a slight cold, keep sneezing, and Steven says bless you bless you
LoL last night I sneezed, while in the same room as Mishka AND
Mishka said bless you bless you
NOW she says yachoo yachoo and bless you bless you
Mishka is probably thinking boy, it took mommy so long to catch on hahaha
