talking???

I have a male 2 month old cinnamon green cheek conure. He mutters but around what age will he really start talking!?!?

Mine is about a year and a half and still does not say actual words. She does jabber a lot of jibberish....My moms GCC is a couple months younger than mine and he does say quite a few different things. I think he was about 6 mos when he first said "I love you" Every bird is different, some talk early , some later and some never do talk.

Beebee said his first word at 13 weeks so anything is possible but not all birds learn to talk, some Greys don't even talk.
If he does talk make sure you tell us because that's really exciting when it happens!

my patigonian conure bird is of an unknown age, but he doesn't talk much. he says hello sometimes, but mostly mumbles and squeals lol. he imitates other birds, his favorite is an eclectus scream . some birds are shy and only talk when they're alone, but as they adjust they talk more in front of you. they also have CD's you can play for your bird to encourage talking. good luck

my blue crowned conure started talking at 14 weeks, she's 2 and a half now and talks all the time, she's the best talker of the bunch and is still coming out with new things.
all birds learn in their own time, my Rocky is 6 and doesn't say a word.

THANKS so much this helped a lot!! When hes in his cage and I'm in the room. is when he talks the most lol, I'm starting to make out some words like pretty bird and scratch scratch. Well that's what I think hes saying at least lol!!!! He is such a clown and loves to cuddle! Hopefully I will be.posting some pics of the lil guy and give you some updates on his speech!
