Taming an aggressive Green cheek

I have a single male breeder green cheek conure. He is untamed and aggressive. Is there anyway I can tame him into a pet bird? I remember taming an aggressive cockatiel as a child by toweling him and petting his head while talking to him. Any advice?

Yes you could tame one down, you just need to put in a lot of work with one on one interaction on a daily basis to win him over. Someone else mentioned the toweling method as well....

Uhh..guys...I think I just witnessed a miracle. The minute after I clipped his wings he stopped acting hostile! He's sitting on my lap right now. hope I can be his friend. I won't replace his mate but at least he will have my company now.
