The morning after

Hope you continue to feel better! Amazing how the day(s) after such a fall are so much worse. But you will turn the corner!

I was going to ask you about the new additions... I've noticed you had that written there for a while now. I'm extremely curious! How about another hint please?!! Lol

Hmmmm.... how about- no:D:09::54: Ok, how about I think they are super adorable, but I'm not sure everyone would find them quite as exciting as I do (kind of like how non-bird people find birds not very exciting).

ROTFL!! I figured that'd be your answer :p. Well, I think it's some sort of more exotic life form?... but not as exotic as your scobys LOL. Has "it" been reproducing yet btw?

Hope your aches and scrapes heal up fast. Although it hurts, I'm glad to hear it's all superficial and nothing broken!

Sorry about the spill you took, April. Bouncing off of concrete? Not fun. I've experienced it a time or two, myself. Hope you're doing much better, today.

As for your pet, I agree with April's assessment that it couldn't possibly be more exotic than the scabby! Lol!

Uh Steve, I know you meant Scoby.... Darn typos. :p

What? The scabby is a thing, too! Yeah! A lifeform even more exotic than the Scoby!

Sorry, April. Didn't mean to spill the beans about your secret new pet. Lol!

That's scabbies, not scabies! Real important distinction :D.

Hahaha! You're a nut!

April - I hope you continue to improve and I'm totally confused about what to expect this summer.

Good guess Stephen, but no scabby for us (certainly not what came up when I googled that OMG, though I'm sure that is not at all what you are talking about lol)!

And there will definately NOT be any scabies happening this summer either Julie. In fact, between the 2, I'm not sure which would be worse:52::eek:

I have actually been cutting up some of my SCOBY babies to help heal my wounds and bruises from the fall. I just slice it into an appropriate sized piece and lay it over the cut/bruise for a while. It apparently is antiseptic and has healing properties and seems to be helping the scrapes. Speaking of the SCOBY and it's babies, that sucker is reproducing like crazy:11:

April, I am so sorry about your fall! I hope you are feeling better each day:(
Now I am so excited about your soon to be new additions that I am having a hard time concentrating on anything else.

Thanks! I am feeling better today. It will be 80 degrees out and I have errands to run later, so I'll be sporting some fantastic looking bruises (not) in public today:31:

I'm excited too! It will be well into summer before I'm ready to bring 'them' home. I would have had them by now, but had to have some unexpected dental work last month and them my husband's car had the catalytic converter crack, so it delayed my plan for my new babies to come home as I wasn't able to afford the rest of the things I need for their 'housing'.

Hope you weren't going by what came up under the Urban Dictionary! Scary! Hahaha! After THAT visual, I'll just admit it was a typo. Shudder!

So when are you going to spill??????

I'm not even a man and I winced:52: lol. I've heard my fair share of, er, "colorful language" in my life, but even I hadn't heard that one. Who knew lol?

At some point:16::16::16: though I'm not sure everyone will be as excited about my "nontraditional" critters as I am:33:
