the newest feathers member... froot loop aka frootie

following my sweet Verde girls sudden death, my husband got me frootie to help with my grief, or rather take my mind off it.

in comes froot loop... frootie for short.

absolutely nothing like Verde who was a full time eater. frootie likes to hang like fruit bat upside down, big baths, and 6 am lol

I really wanted to get nice pic of her, but she decided to bathe in her chopped fruit abd then water to get unsticky lol

What a cutie.... I am so sorry about Verde... Frootie can't replace her, but I hope she helps with the healing and helps you remember the time you had with Verde with a smile.

She is certainly her own little bird; and definately wriggling her way into our hearts already <3

I like that she's different to Verde. and oh boy does shehave some personality! I've never seen a bird dive into any flat dish and bathe in it, no matter whats in it! We had a seed and pellet bath tonight - she smells very umm "earthy" hahaha

Yep she's a cinnamon. Actually the brightest one I've seen in the flesh. Verde was super pale in her chest and head area....Frootie is kinda dark and very vibrant green cheeks...and oh boy does that give her some spunk!!

She's sussed out "up" and "down" already...proud mumma moment! And last night she snuggled with me on the couch...albeit under my arm pit, complete with birdy twittering haha

SHe's also trained me to know that nippy on the thumb actually means I'm hungry. I guess I need to figure out how to make the nippy turn into a "nommy" sound so I know when it's dinner time.

So glad hubby got her for me, she's an absolute cracker!
