well its the amhere and as normal nuts got me up very early!!! as its my day off, i thought i'd leave her out of her cage a little, this morning!

while on here reading the posts, i hear something rythmically dropping in the kitchen?? so i go to look! if it wasn't so cute i'd have taken them off her asap!

on the table was some hard toffees, nut had been taking them thinking oh great new foot toys!
then thinking ooohhhh yummy foot toys!!!:32:

well when i tried to take it off her she dropped one she was currently un wrapping an got a new one an flew to top of the door!!! naughty girl:11:

hahahahahaha, that is soooo cute. Tiki will do that to me every now and then. But I can't let her have them because I use the sugar free kind and I don't know how good that dietary stuff is for birds. So better safe than sorry here.

It's so hard not to indulge them especially when they're so clever.

My husband and I like turbinado sugar for our coffee and it's just easier to buy the packets instead of the bulk since it tends to clump. About 1x week, our birdies get a treat of "brown paper" (the packets are unbleached paper) because there's usually one or two grains of sugar left in the packets. They know where the brown paper comes from because when they see me with our mugs or hear the coffee pot, they make sure to fly over just in case today's the day...

yup i feel bad taking the sweet off her merlin........ an now she is out shes run all over table lookin for any stray sweets lol
