The Walking Dead...any fans here???

Aaaa I love the walking dead! I could cry about Carol haha! I don't want her to be the next bad guy!

Thanks to you Wendy, I am now an addict of the walking dead! My hubby and I taped all 3 1/2 seasons when they had a marathon new years and stayed up night after night catching up. Some nights to 2am! :p

Can't wait until next Sunday!!

Blan I know exactly how you feel! I did the same in attempting to catch up and loosing days to the walking dead greatness haha

OMG! I LOVE this show!!

Funny story... When this show first came out, it was around the time when stuff like Twilight was coming out. So when I first saw the previews and it showed Rick stumbling down the street looking rough (the first episode when he left the hospital) I thought he was a zombie. I knew he was the main guy so I (for some dumb reason) assumed that the show was going to be a funny "zombies are people too" like show....haha.
So When the first episode came on I set it to record. My husband wasn't home and I'm a BIG chicken. I never watch scary stuff! I sit down preparing to laugh. I watched the whole episode while fast forwarding through everything scary. I was horrified! Lol. My husband came home and laughed at me.

I didn't watch any more episodes after that until one day (during the day!) I saw a marathon on because season 3 was about to start. I started watching it (still fast forwarding if it got too scary) and got hooked! My husband refused to watch it with me because he thinks zombie movies are dumb. I liked it so much that I ended up watching season 1 and 2 all over again on netflix. Finally I talked my husband into watching it and now he's just as addicted as I am! :)

Now we've got my sister, her fiancé, and my brother addicted to it and they come over every week to watch the new episode and have dinner.

Has anyone seen this?

There are other videos with all the characters with lip reading.. But bad language so couldnt post it ;)

But this is soo strange, but funny.. and addictive.. My brother found it, showed it to me.. Now we go around the house singing it hahahaha

I even downloaded the song :o

This video has ricks parts cut out, and isn't in time in some bits

If you type in youtube- bad lip reading the walking dead.

The video is on there which has the proper song at the end, not the extended version :p

It is just a catchy song!!! hahaha

There is no way that Carol will turn into a bad guy. She is inherently good. I'm still mad at Rick for turning her out. If he was going to get up on a high horse, he should have turned CARL out first, that little psycho. lol, just kiddin, but you know what i mean!

You know a show is good when they create an show AFTERWARDS to talk about what just happened on it! Talking Dead is a good way to release the pent up energy from the Walking Dead.

I thought that maybe carol was going to meet up with a new set of people, but then that already happened with Andrea. So I don't know. I just don't want to see her as a walker at some point! Maybe they will end up needing her again

I was sad about Carol being kicked out too but....

I think Rick did the right thing... She killed two people who they knew and who caused no threat other than the sickness, that they were being quarantined for anyway. Then on the episode where Rick leaves her she really shows how far gone she's become when she cares more about a stupid watch than a man's life. I don't blame her for becoming slightly crazy, I probably would too in that world, but crazy is crazy.
What Rick did was best for the group, and that's (usually) always what rick tries to do. If she would have stayed then Tyrese would have went nuts and probably tried to kill her. That would have split the group wide open and caused violence within those walls. More people would have ended up dead. Rick left Carol with a car and supplies and he felt horrible about it.

I also feel sorry for Carl. I don't think him and Carol are the same at all. He's a kid growing up in a crazy world. He's having trouble remembering what's right and wrong. Yes, he shot that kid and yes, it was wrong....but at least it was in the middle of a high stakes "war" and the kid was from the other side. The poor kid doesn't know if he's a man or a boy now and he's seen so much murder and death. The good thing is that Herschel and Rick saw what was going on with Carl and stepped in to fix it. The past few episodes have shown that Carl is being taught better and steered in a better direction. With Carol it seemed like no one noticed that she was losing her humanity until it was too late.

I hope they can find a way to bring Carol back to the group. I don't know how but I would like to see her find her compassion again and come back contrite but stronger than ever.

So, all you TWD fans....what did you think of season 4? How did you like the season finale? :D

I LOVED every last bit of it. Too many commercials, yes, but nevertheless, still my absolute favorite show - EVER. :D

"They're messing with the wrong people." (Rick's last quote)

Jersey Wendy, thank you for asking! I had some problems with the finale. WARNING: SPOILER ALERTS! I thought the "flashbacks" were kind of boring and wasted time. I didn't need to see Hershel again. What I NEEDED to see was Rick and Carl get reunited with Baby Judith! Also, I thought it was unrealistic for Rick to just walk right into that warehouse where the people were...he should have known better! Everything about the Terminus place seemed odd. The front gates weren't locked, there were no guards...it didn't make sense. The one thing I was VERY happy about though, was that Rick and Darryl killed Joe and his gang. They were bad and needed to go. It's going to be a long wait for October. I'm hoping they can kill all the cannibal hipsters running Terminus, and take over themselves, turning the place into another safe haven. Fingers crossed!

I really enjoyed the finale, and I actually did enjoy seeing Herschel again:) I liked how it showed how Rick had chosen to become a farmer.
My fav part was definitely what Rick did to Joe, who so deserved it.
I can't wait to see what happens next season and I cannot believe it is 7 months away:(
Whatever will I do until then on Sunday nights???

Love the season finale. I agree with Terry, the flashbacks were a good reminder of how Rick has gone full circle. It was important to show that everything he does is for the good of his son. Becoming a farmer with the help of Hershel to make his son more human. Then going back to violence to protect him for the horrors they are forced to deal with.

A lot of what happened followed the comics, which was cool. Rick killing Joe the way he did is one of the examples. I wasn't sure if they were going to go that dark. Glad that they only hinted around what was about to happen to Carl. Now if it continues to follow the comics, the Termites will be cannibals. Which I have thought since the first group went in. Hoping they weren't cooking Beth on that BBQ.

Honestly, I was getting a little bored by the individual story lines the second half of the season. I get why they did it and it is nice to get to know each character better. But it was slow at points and I was left wishing that more was going on. So the finale was a great action packed episode in my opinion.

Can't wait for next season. So glad that Rick is back and better than ever.

My favorite quote from The Talking Dead: Hey Terminus.... Guess What? You're Screwed! :)

Interesting! Thank you.

I actually LOVED all the flashbacks because they touched on many unresolved issues (i.e. why season 4 started with Farmer Rick ;) )

I agree with you on making Terminus a safe haven....but which main character will be lost in the process?

YIKES! I do not want to lose anyone else:(
But that being said, I would be okay with Bob, Sasha or Tyreese.

Termites, love that..lolol

I loved that!
Did you see on Talking Dead that in this scene, Daryl was supposed to wet the cloth that he handed to Rick to wipe his face off with, and he didn't get it wet. So Rick said he was just smearing all that stuff all over his face..lol.

YES!!! I was laughing SO hard when Andrew was talking about that cloth being dry. BAHAHAHHA!!! He was so animated about it, too. :D

I love him.
Shhh, don't tell Reg.

Spoiler Alert I actually liked the season final. Hershel fans will be glad to see him in flashbacks. To be honest I do not mind the flashbacks. Hershel was trying to heal Rick and Carl. But he was also making the good point they need to think about the future. I think anyone with foresight will admit Hershel is correct that in this world you can not just depend on dry or canned goods or hunting. After all there is only a certain amount of dry and canned food and a large group can hunt a area thin. Rick Carl and Michonne talked about how hungry they are. Not to mention the symbolism of the scene when Rick talked about the trap maze for animals to go through. Tyrese knows Carol will do what needs to be done to survive. It is easy to see Carol feels bad about Karen and David's death (and she sees Rick's point of view that it did not help anything). I can not wait for season 5.

My last post will explain why the Hershel flashbacks made sense. To be fair with Rick was at least was smarter about how he went into Terminus then Glenn's group. The point is those people looked harmless (but looks can be deceiving). I know Glenn had a orange backpack (plus Hershel's watch and the police gear). The people of Terminus took all of that. However, if I remember correctly the first time we seen that backpack was in season 3 where that guy (on the side of the road) that did not look in bad shape was trying to hitch a ride from Rick. They took if after the man ended up getting killed.
