The weather here was amazing today so...

I took Dusty outside to enjoy the beautiful sun/ fresh air. And you know what?!?!? He didn't pick his feathers once

I'm trying to get ahead of his feather picking. He has many wonderful new hand made toys that he just LOVES and I have kept the humidifier on due to the dry air in my apartment. I think getting outside today was the perfect enrichment

(dont mind the coat I'm wearing. It was mighty warm for it today but I wore it to give Dusty a safe place being that Going outside at first does sometimes freak him out.

I try to take him outside as often as I can during the warmer months. He loves being outdoors. He gets extra "chatty" and he doesnt feather pick while he is outside. The warmer months are the only months that I can usually get his feather picking to decrease.
