Babies Mulder and Scully with their favorite book. :04:

They both hatched out on Valentine's Day 1997, a few hours apart. Photo taken when they were a few months old. They celebrated their 22nd bird-days this year.

So cute! Have they found the truth yet? It’s out there.

Happy 22 years!!!! Way to go!

Congratulations on twenty-two years of the search for the truth! Parrots have more fun! But, now that you know it, you're sworn to keep it from the non-believers. :D
Again, Congratulations!

They look like they are heavily investigating the cover of the book :)

LOL....They want to believe but they trust no one.

Actually had a platform made with their names on it and the phrase, "Trust No One". They would each stand behind their own names.

I think we need a then and now photo for comparison! How wonderful they’ve spent 22 years together.

Unfortunately they no longer share a cage. I had to separate them in 2016 when Scully got very ill on New Year's Eve. Exhibiting tremors and off balance. Rushed him to Emergency Vet New Year's Day and then to his regular vet when the office reopened. Had to take him to what his vet described as birdie day care for two weeks daily where he was tube fed 3X a day and monitored and observed. I syringe fed on Sundays. Vet wanted to try this out and see how he did and if it didn't work well he would be hospitalized. He did OK with driving him there and back and he started eating on his own at home about 1 1/2 after this all started although not enough to sustain him. He was dismissed from day care once he was eating enough consistently. Thankfully he recovered but I never put him back in the cage that he and Mulder shared although they can visit with each other.

Although lab work was done no definitive diagnosis was made. Thought was possible stroke or head trauma (fell or he and Mulder had a fight) and ABV was considered but that was totally ruled out.

Happy 22nd Sulky and Mouldy....my all time favourite series. 'Trust no one' and 'keep the TRUTH' thereby you 'live long and prosper' to a ripe old age of 22 and beyond LOL...Wishing you many more delightful years together.
