Looks like the lake I live on. We have lots of loons including babies like the small one on the left.

If I had a chicken I would bring it inside in the cold winter. I have plently of land for chickens here in Maine but I really don't need chickens to care for and worry about along with all my budgies!

We currently have 8. They're getting older so not all laying consistently anymore, but more than enough for our needs. I couldn't go back to store bought eggs on a bet!

I get eggs from a man I work with who has lots of chickens. The yolks are much deeper in color than store bought eggs. I really hate the poultry industry and how they treat the chickens. I hardly ever eat chicken. They're birds, innocent birds, and are so mistreated.

I checked on the loons before I left. I want one they are so beautiful. I hope they are still there next month when I’m back.

The lake we are on has 10 loons right now. I enjoy watching them. Their calls put me to sleep, and are relaxing. I like to watch the Osprey fish too. Their diving is magnificent.
