This May Sound Funny To You......

All of you know how messy birds can be when eating. Quite by accident I found a way to feed Rosie that is so easy to keep clean. I usually feed her on the kitchen countertop and the food still hits the floor and walls, leavng stains. One day I put her plate in the kitchen sink while there was still food on the surface. The plate blocked the sink drain well. The next thing I knew Rosie jumped into the sink and started eating again. Now, keeping her safety in mind, I feed her that way all the time. It works!!!

Very Interesting concept SB, would have been nice if you spoke up a couple months ago when I was handfeedig the Galahs in the kitchen just inches away from the sink :09:

Great idea SB, it does minimize the amount if cleaning.

During winter time,

if it is too cold to take on the balcony, I place her in the bath when feeding Mishka her eggs and shells.
I do not feed her eggs in her cage, the smell sticks around yuuck..... There she eats, messes and plays, thereafter she has a shower, then has a beautiful blow dry.

Eggs are a great source of protien, scrambled, hard boiled, and the shell provides calcium to their diet

I've just finished cleaning Fred's cage for the fourth time, since I fed him fish! The smell lingers! Ummmm .....I wonder if I could convince Fred to try the sink.....
