Tiny Feathers

I'm seeing an increase in these very tiny feathers in and around Luna's cage. Is this normal molting?

Likely head, neck and lower back feathers, but not limited to those areas. When Parrots molt the tiny feather areas you will start to see some patchy areas with downy feathers providing the only cover above the skin.

Very common with all Parrots, but can be a bit surprising to owners of the mid to larger Parrot species as they do not commonly see these feathers as belonging to their Parrot.
