Titan is two weeks old!

I tend to think so, and getting cuter every day! Way cuter than cockatiels of the same age, that's for sure!

Amazing! I'm not a breeder so I may be asking a silly question, the parents couldn't/ wouldn't feed precious Titan? I'd be so afraid of him, he's so tiny. Love all the pics, plz keep them coming. Forgive me I had not read the entire post. Got caught in the pics and jumped the gun.

His parents refused to feed this clutch, we are still trying to work out why.

Oh look at that little cutie! Great job saving him too! Sorry about the rest of the clutch. I can't wait to see more pics of Titan!

He is just over three weeks now, I have more pics but my iPad is fighting me HARD. Today he climbed up onto my hand during breakfast :)

What precious photographs - thank you so much for sharing... you are amazing to be able to do that! I would be absolutely terrified!!!!

Lol have no doubts, it is terrifying! It is not my plan A, or even my plan B to hand raise them, especially from so young! But when it is necessary it is scary.

The pics finally opened for me Dani! worth waiting for! what an adorable little baby! The last pic, it looks like he is smiling. :p He looks so healthy and happy! The parents look just like my Fiji, so now I know what she looked like as a baby, lol. Out of all your birds, I'm sure Baby Titan will always have a special connection with you! :D

I hope so! I Really wish he had clutch mates, or that I had baby birds of ANY species to put him with for socialization; it really isn't good for him to grow up "alone" even at this early stage :(

Wearing the harness today! Also, he insists on exploring more and more; he has been a jumper and tumbler from day one but more so now lol.

That has to be the super-cutest pic on the forum!!! Well done on getting the little babe this far!!!

Sweet photo, Dani! I've never seen such a young chick wearing a harness, too cute!

At this age they have no fighting instinct of new things, because everything is new. I'm still experimenting with the exact right time to start them, but six weeks seems to be a bit old already, so I started Titan at three weeks. It's all an experiment; the goal is to have babies who never fear the harness to start with :)
