Bourke's parrots, green cheeked conure
Over a week ago I posted a game - who wanted to take a part, divided 10 points for their favorite parrots. There voted 12 members http://www.parrotforums.com/game-room/83527-favorite-parrots.html. Because on the 6th place were 5 types, there was later a play-off http://www.parrotforums.com/game-room/83638-favorite-parrots-part-2-poll.html Finally the tie wasn't reduced to 0 but is definitely smaller;)
10th and 9th place:
Budgerigar
(aka budgie, parakeet)

OH NEVERMIND!!! JUST SAW THE BOTTOM!!

Rozalka sure knows how to build the drama and suspense!

Got my loud mouth quakers at 4th!! Yippie!

Martina - I'm thinking I'll bild a bit more the drama and suspense;) 3rd, 2nd and 1st places will be given today but with two small brake times between them - in this time I'm going to study physics:(
Laura - some people say 4th place is the worst because it's first behind the podium;)

3. Crimson-bellied conure
(10 points - all in rememberence of Phoe)

I am definitely biased, but am so happy with number 3:) Thank you for the mention of my sweet Boy, Rozalka, I'm glad I threw all my points here:)
Thank you for all your hard work on this!

This explains all Lilly’s screaming this morning. Her Royal Highness is pretty pleased with her podium finish!

1. Amazons
25 points!!!! (Including 2 were for yellow headed amazons)

Lories & lorikeets and CBC's were few days 10 points. Lilly can say "thank you" to her Polish auntie who voted for her species the last day;):D (Believe me - when I was coping PCL photo I had "awww "in my head)

Sorry Terry, it also meant the 3rd place for the CBC

Oh this was very fun. Thank you for the great idea! Congrats to all the winners!

Laura - some people say 4th place is the worst because it's first behind the podium

Ouch Rozalka! ;) I prefer to think they made the top 5 !

It was a joke;) In this case I think the worst place is 11th - there was the green cheeked conure - 4,5 points. Only half point more and could take in the part 2!

I don't know why I should be surprised.
Considering all the variety in amazons.
And considering I am one of those amazon snobs.

Yeah you Amazon Snobs better watch out! Us Lorikeet Lovers are nipping at your heels!

As an Amazon Snob, it is difficult to restrain the joy of being owned by an Amazon!

And, although there has been rumor that the ballet box had been stuffed by certain individuals (who shall remain nameless). The joy remains.

Regardless of the outcome, the pole was very enjoyable and thank you for taking the time away from your studies! Again, Thank You!!!

As HRH Lilly Pilly's POTM Campaign Manager, I resent the imputation that any ballet/ballot boxes have EVER been rigged/stuffed/tampered with in any way, no branches were stacked, nor any borders gerrymandered, nor were any electorates threatened with torture. The fact that Rozalka is Lilly's favourite Polish aunty is pure coincidence and had NOTHING to do with the outcome!
