Hi
I would like to know if itā€™s possible to rid branches of pesticides from the outdoors as Iā€™m building a play stand for my parrot as he keeps chewing my chair and pooping on it the branch is from a eucalyptus.

thank you

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
If you know for certain pesticides were applied, that'd be a hard "no" for me. Some are short acting, others permeate the bark and prove difficult or impossible to remove. Heat treating and/or scrubbing may help, but I tend to be overly cautious in the absence of absolute understanding of types used.
