I got Maxx a bag of Tropical Nutri-berries today, and needless to say, he LOVED them. I will be using them as treats inside his foraging toys. I LOVE how they use a foot to hold food while they are eating.

My vet recomended them if I couldn't get Bob eating pellets rather than seeds. Given that I have been having trouble finding treats that Bob likes I will try nutri-berries.
My vet recommended that, but he also asked how I was offering Bob his pellets; I was feeding him pellets mixed with a few seeds, and that was all that I was giving Bob. This feeding method required frequent refillings as Bob seemed to think that the pellets were evil an would pick out the seeds and toss the pellets. My vet told me to offer a bowl of pure pellets and a bowl of seeds with just a few pellets mixed in. This advice seemed retarded to me, but I felt the vet knew more than I did and followed it. His advice worked, and while Bob may not be eating as many pellets as he should he is eating a good number of them.My vet recomended them if I couldn't get Bob eating pellets rather than seeds. I had a lovebird many years ago that wouldn't eat pellets, so I just took parakeet nutriberries, crushed them, just enought the crumble the ball, using my fingers, and put them in her dish. Worked great.
