Parrots
Tsali - African Grey- I am a one parrot parent. It's a full time job keeping Tsali healthy and happy.
So I gave Tsali a treat and let him step down onto his "T" stand to eat it while I got ready to do some sewing. The next thing I know Tsali flew to my shoulder WITH HIS TREAT and proceeded to eat his snack on my shoulder making a huge mess. Don't care about the mess, what I think is awesome is that Tsali flew to me carrying his treat so he could "eat with my close company.

Do your fids do this?

My conures do that as well - I love that they think it’s more fun to eat treats on my shoulder than on their play areas :). It’s a good thing I put on “parrot” clothes as soon as I get home so I don’t care if they make a mess on me lol.

Perjo has become very interested in what I am eating. She's always gone to her bowl when I eat in front of her (the whole flock eating thing) but now if she's out of her cage she hunches down and gets her wings ready as if she is about to take off toward me. If she is close by she always tries to lean in or coax me to pick her up and put her on my shoulder. Some day I will let her sit there and eat with me, just not ready for her to do so yet.

Timneh flies to me with her treat so sometimes its fine but sometimes i'm not fast enough if I need to do something without Timneh. Like going into the basement to do laundry or to go use the bathroom. She flies to me right when she hears the basement door close.

I concur Tsali is awesome. YEP! Clark always sits on me and walks his food from my desk up my arm to eat on me. He eats fine at the bowl in his cage, but at my desk he grabs his food and comes to sit on me to eat it.

Yep, my birds do that, and Ducky usually drops it mid flight, somewhere where I have to clean it up :)
