Uh oh! Boy budgie is a girl?

We got a female yellow budgie last week, and my daughter wanted a male that’s blue feathered, so we drove all over the city to many pet stores and finally found a store with several blue males, but today I think that blue “male” is actually a girl!? I thought I was decent at separating the genders , but the blue bird seems to have white around the nostrils now even though his cere is purple/blue, what do you all think? Is Blueberry a girl?

I’m leaning towards it being a boy. Females don’t usually get that purple color. Cute birds! ❤️

Too purplish to be a girl. It's looks a bit lighter around the nostrils but not whitish like a girl's.
