We have a 9 year old male parrot named Psy.

He has claimed our bathroom as his territory and will defend it vigorously against me or the cat. He is about a 7 inch long parrot.

What he does that is unique is he will burrow under our floor mat and then go to sleep.

I know you cannot see him, but he is nestled in that towel. If you were to disturb him, he will come charging out. I was thinking of a video, but I don't have the heart to bother him just so I can get a video. He is not aggressive toward my wife.

Are sure he is not a she? Females tend to do that as part of nesting and will definitely defend it.
