Venus' New Sound, Ear Plugs Please!

Venus is a very quiet bird except in the last hour she has started making a new sound. It has cleared the room of the dogs and Buddy has been silenced. Her current, favorite sound is the Amber Alert sound, above bullhorn volume. Gotta love it, what's so interesting about that sound, lol?

It isn't often that it happens here it is an "alarm call" and it is unlike any other sound an eclectus makes it is truly alarming! It can peel the paint off the walls and make your ears bleed and all your fillings fall out of your teeth!

Ekki's can be very loud when they want to be, though in my experience it is very seldom. When Ruby gets very loud, it usually means something or someone is different.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! The first time Oliver did it I dropped a hot cup of coffee all over my desk...he let it rip just as I was about to sip. Since then, he does this loud call at least once or twice a day each four or five repetitions and of course my dog dives into whatever hideout is close by and I wish I can dive with her. Gotta lov'm...
