One of my birds have vomited 3 times in the past 5 weeks. He has been to the vet but she didn't seem too concerned and no tests were mentioned so I just didn't even think to ask for some to be done. There has also been 2 times that he has just fell off his perch through the night (not sure if he'd just been too relaxed or if it's a health problem) .....
He is still acting fine other than this but after being sick on 2 of these occasions, he was a bit quieter for a short time. Any ideas what could be wrong or what tests could be done..?? I have asked the vet for oral baytril and waitingon her getting back to me and hoping to be able to try that.
My other bird had been having problems that started probably about a week before...he would (mostly through the night) twitch his wings, fly around the room once or twice, fall to the floor, not be able to fly for a minute then when he got back to his perch, he would toe tap. The landing on the floor unable to fly happened twice, every other time he would twitch his wings then just fly perch to perch a few times then settle and toe tap.It probably happened 5 times in total. I added in calcivet and he's not had a problem since. He did have a blood test 6 months before (he's had respiratory problems on and off since I got them almost 3 years ago) and his calcium and everything else was fine then.
The first 2 pics are his vomit, next is his poop straight after vomiting for the first time then his next poos. Tried to upload other videos but were unable to. The short video that did upload was this morning
