LOL! Utterly gorgeous! When the Beaks wake up my hubby, they usually do it by weeding out silver hairs from his beard. They perform this service for free, but oddly hubby isn't too fussed about it. Wonder why...?

I have to say those big red beaks are the most adorable of all parrot beaks! They're so - well - big and red and powerful and gentle and sensitive and just lovely. Honestly, while the bite is fearsome when it happens, it doesn't take long to reach an understanding with your bird so that he doesn't need to bite you. Mine don't bite any more (except, very occasionally Madge will as she's a bit 'thing' about her particular perch). Dommie has hurt me much more often than the Beaks have and his bill is tiny compared to theirs.
