Water bottle question

I just bought a water bottle for my sun conure, Apollo. I still keep a bowl of water in his cage, just below the water bottle, so it can catch any drips. The cage has horizontal bars. The water bottle came with a springy thing to stretch around the bottle to attach to the cage. Trouble is, the bottle moves very easily. How do I get it to stay secure and not move around?

Put some zip ties to use in order to prevent he spring from moving. Snugly zip one bar above and one below to the outsides of the spring.
