Hi, I bought Rory, a green cheek conure, about a month ago, he (gender is unknown, assuming he's a he) is now 5 months old. He was parent reared but is becoming more tame every day, has recently started taking food out of my hand and likes being around me - just won't let me touch him yet!
In the past 2 days when I sometimes go near his cage he goes into his snuggle / cosy hut and sort of lies on his chest, putting his head into the ground, and his right wing starts flapping and he makes little noises (quite soft sounding which he doesn't make on any other occasions)
Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this behaviour or if anybody knows why he might be doing it?
Thanks,
Jamie
