Well someone is getting a treat

Gizmo has been a bit sneaky lately, when I take him off the top of the cage he will step up or jump to my elbow versus stepping onto my hand, it's a way of him ensuring he will not be put back in the cage, "you can't put me back if I am on your shoulder" (even though I mix up how I return him, this is obviously how he ends up being returned in the event of an unannounced visitor).

So today I decided I needed to go back to basics and training was all about step up on my hand. The normal treat food is peas, they love peas, but they really really love pumpkin seeds, so I broke out the big guns.

Pretty soon we were in a stand off, he know exactly what I wanted, he just didn't want to play ball...lol. Pebbles was following the command and gobbling down sunflower seeds so I felt confident it was only a matter of time.

Just when I thought he was going to step on my hand, all of a sudden the head starts shaking, and I was the one getting a treat. Training session was abandoned.
