We've been busy!

We made some new toys today for the rescue Zonzilla that I've been taking care of. I figured if he had something else to sink his beak into, he couldn't feel so compelled to sink it into me.

I also built him a playgym above his cage today.

All this work and he's SO ungrateful. Jerk!

We had a talk about the circle of life, the food chain, etc. I explained to him how the reason I don't have feathers is because I'm actually slightly higher on the totem pole than he is and how for every ounce of flesh he removes from my body is an ounce of feathers I get to remove from his.

He doesn't care. No really! He honestly doesn't give a second thought to the whole thing. I think he thinks I'm bluffing.

It's ok Wendy. It's humbling. He could use a bit of a humbling anyway. He took a shot at me when I fed him breakfast this morning. He really doesn't dig chicks... at all.

Blue, on the other hand, is totally into girls. One of my halfwit guy friends came over the other night and went to pick her up. She backed away and kept saying "Noooo. Noooo. Blue... Noooo"

Get a guy friend with an extra finger or two to come over and try to pick up Z to see how Z does with a man. (maybe one that you don't mind if he never wants to come back again).
