What color are these feathers that are peeeeeeeeeking out of the pinfeathers? IRN babies! From what I understand the parents are slate grey and a olive green color. No, I have no idea what the exact mutations are.

They look grey to my untrained eyes, but I know nothing about IRN mutations.

Super bright-eyed, super cute chick(s). :D

They look bluish gray to me. Something along the lines of this color:

They look blue or aqua to me... but i didnt think that was possible with a green and grey... but, what do i know LOL!

It's kind of hard to say what they'll look like once out of the sheaths. There are gray IRNS, bluish gray ones and bright blue ones. This pic has what I'd consider a bright blue and a grayish blue (what I could see those birds possibly looking like):

oh and the eclectus eggs never hatched :(

It can be super difficult to even begin imagining IRN colours when they aren't fully out. This is the website that shows all the colours of my baby and his two male siblings - two were normal blue (my boy), and one was violet. Only way to know for sure is know the lineage of the parents and when their feathers fully come out :)

By slate grey do you just mean grey or do you mean slaty grey?

Do you know what the parents are split to?

And the picture of the adults... That actually looks like a blue and a violet....

I see some ill blue feathers I think... Man are they cute? Did you ever get my reply to your private message?

For those familiar with IRN mutations... what will they look like?

I know they are just the feather tips but is there a way to know what color they will be? I have looked up turquoise and blue IRN but its so confusing. The blue looks more green....

In the first picture one looks more green than the other. The second picture they look closer in color.
