GCC- Ollie 3.9.13.
Cockatiels- RIP Charlie 2012, Zac 2006.
OK, so Ollie (the GCC) has started making a noise very similar to one my tiels used to make when they were warning me that they were not happy (which was usually accompanied by the "nibble" threat of biting). However, Ollie seems to mainly make this noise when he is hiding somewhere by himself. He will occasionally make a similar noise if he doesn't want to leave my shoulder and I try to make him but it is usually just while hiding (either in his Happy Hut, or behind the beanbag in the corner of the lounge room etc) Sorry that the video quality is bad but you can hopefully hear the noise I'm talking about! I just want to know what he is trying to tell me, I'm new to conures so haven't figured out what noise means what yet! Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Chico does that noise constantly the 2 main times he does is it is: before going to bed, fighting his hanging handcuffs, and battling his little ball. I don't know why its just one of Conure's many sounds.

I hear the sound of contentment.

Hahaha those are what I refer to as 'ewok' noises.... When Felix heard Ollie on the ipad he went nuts lol.... I think those are happy noises.....Felix makes them when he is having fun.....

He's trying to imitate human speech.

Thanks guys!!! I was confused because he seems to make the noise when he's happy but like I said, it's the noise my tiles made when upset! Glad I read he body language correctly and that my boy is happy!!! :)
