What does your fid destroy? My Oliver, Bella and Zora mess up my laptop keyboard... and my earrings... and my hairbands... and my buttons... and my TV remote...... The list goes on and on. How do you do it, macaw and zon owners??? Lol, I'm just curious. I haven't even had Bella and Zora 2 months, and Oliver 2 weeks, yet have my possesions are torm apart.

SHIRTS! Arghh, Icarus has a terrible habit of flying over to my shoulder and instantly biting my shirt. That's all it takes to put two holes in the fabric. I try to be wearing an "Icarus shirt" when he's out, but sometimes I'm wearing something I'd prefer stayed intact.

However, I count myself lucky. He doesn't destroy anything else, except his toys (which I obviously expect and encourage my little chewer to do).

Oh gosh, I forgot about shirts! My two GCCs love them (not so much my Senegal), except they're too little to bite a hole through.

Codie destroyed my favourite Flipflops :11: They were on the Kitchen Floor and somehow she sneaked out there without me noticing, by the time I went out there, it was too late!! little chunks of them all over the floor :( Hairbands she loves and if she gets the chance, the Keyboard!! :)

NO!!! *gasp* Not the flip-flops! :11: How could she?! I'm sorry for the loss of two beautiful twins. :(....:p

They were my favourite flipflops as well :( I have tried to get another pair the same, and no luck so far :(

Yeah I had a similar story, except with a dog destroying my sandals. They were from when I was visiting family in Brazil; how can I get them back? Sometimes you wanna kill 'em, but after 2 seconds it's just... Awww!

Everything we can get our beak on! That big macaw beak is just amazing, but the most expensive damage came from our little quaker Lulu. She was playing on top of her cage when I left the room and left my laptop open. When I came back she was still playing on her cage like a good bird but several keys were gone from the laptop. Now how did that happen? I searched high and low for the keys but couldn't find them even in her cage where the little packrat had been known to hide things. It wasn't until later when I started to empty my glass of water that I found the keys stashed in the bottom of it. The glass was quite a bit taller than the bird so she must have stood on her tiptoes to get those keys in it. Unfortunately she wrecked the clips on the computer that held the keys. Luckily they were not keys I used much.

My GCC's destroy some of my laptop sometimes too, but in some cases I can pop 'em back on. They hide it in the bottom of their food bowl, and it's a coupe days later when I actually find them. =P

Cosmo likes to destroy my phone every chance he gets. I have an otter box on it for protection but he has still managed to chew the rubbery edges all the way around it : (
Crackers is obsessed with my laptop ...she can pop the keys off in nothing flat. it's like her mission in life to rip all the keys off....lol. She is also determined to chew my hairbands in half when I have my hair in a pony tail :11:

Crackers sounds exactly like Bella and Zora! What a kuwinkydink! lol ;)

When I saw the title, all I could think to add was: anything that their little beaks can reach!!!!! Anything!!

Well I guess I am very lucky. My green cheek doesn't shred or tear up anything. He likes to chew on us like we are chew sticks but he really doesn't tear up anything including toys. Doesn't even like most toys. He just spends his time on his telephone or doing what we are doing, doesn't seem to get bored at all. When he gets nippy we have threatened to ground him from his phone but he would probably go insane. LOL Has one in his cage and one on one of his playstands. He does like to climb the venetian blinds and wrap the cords around the slats. He only plays on them when we are in the house. When we go outside he goes back to his couch and sits like a little statue til we come back in, then he starts to play again.

Well I did forget one thing..............he likes to bite holes in my husband's tee shirts. Doesn't make hubby very happy. LOL

Mac, our B&G Macaw will wreak havoc on anything he can get his beak on.

He took a chunk out of our dining room table in about 2 seconds.

He can remove a button from a shirt at the speed of light!

We don't let him get near computers, remotes, phones etc because they would be severely damaged when he got done with them!!

He can break a Brazil nut effortlessly!!

Actually he is very well behaved when we leave him but when we return he is like a fly on sweets. He doesn't want to let us disappear again. He has such a great personality and understands words we say to him. We actualy have to spell some words like "shower" because he will drive us crazy until we take him to the shower with us. He loves swiss cheese and we have to spell that too. He likes to go to the vanity, knows that word and computer means he goes into our office. I am just amazed at how intelligent he is. He really pays attention and says quite a few words in his raspy little voice.
