Hello,

I am having a hard time determining the genders of my 2 budgies.

What do you think?

he green one is a definietly female,
I am with Rozalka, green one is a female and the white pied is still too young to be sure, but I am confident it is a male budgie.

Wow, I had it completely backwards. I figured Kiwi (green) would be the male and Sky the female. I bought them both at the same time over a year ago and began to notice that Kiwi has started to go into the nesting box. Do you know what it means when they start rubbing their bottoms on a yarn toy that's in the cage? I noticed Sky has been doing that.

Thank you as well for your post.

Bubbles- An aqua and white female fancy parakeet

Star- An aqua and yellow (probably) male fancy parakeet

Kiwi- RIP my sweet little green boi TwT
Green one is definitely female. I think the blue one might be too… Males usually have a blue or purple cere and females have brown or pink.
