Great pictures! Isn't he just a dramatic groomer? I'm not sure there's any less dramatic way to preen such beautiful long feathers. He looks like quite a contortionist! Did you just get your Scarlet Macaw? What's his name?

How old is your bird? I once had a cockatiel who would contort herself into all sorts of weird positions and pull her tail around and hold it underneath her and make plaintive "squeak" noises when she wanted to ... erm ... make little baby cockatiels!!
