What kind of conure am I?

Hello!

My name is Amanda. This is my very first post here so I hope I don't mess anything up!
I just got a conure a couple days ago and I was hoping someone could please tell me what type of conure this is. I know it's a GC, but I'm also thinking a little "mix" in there? Not sure, but wanted to get opinions.

What makes you think it's a 'mix'?

More pictures would help, but so far it just looks like a GCC.

Well, the place I got him from had two conures - he was labeled "Fancy" which I know means nothing in reality, but he was much more colorful than the other GCC they had there. So, I thought maybe he is something different than a standard GCC. OH - He is 5 months old.

Our conure, Franklin was also sold to us as a "Fancy" what it really meant is that he is a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure. I have lots of pictures of him in my profile photo albums, just click on my name

I'd say your guy/gal is a yellow sided green cheek conure.

Have fun with him, conures are HUGE personalities in little bitty bodies.

He's adorable! Did you get him from a petsmart? I know they use the term "Fancy" for any special colored bird, even though they don't always know which color they are, for instance, a normal GCC is just labled a Green Cheek Conure, but a pineapple, yellowsided, turquoise, etc will all be lumped into the category of Fancy.
